Updates to Left 4 Dead 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Gameplay

* Now ghost PZ's can never be staggered
* Enabled PZ bots
* PZ bots use their more aggressive survival mode behavior in versus and scavenge
* Enabled finale manual spawn by default
* Fixed human PZ players not getting counted when they were dead, allowing extra PZ bots to spawn
* Reduced effectiveness of melee weapons against the Tank ( 5% of max health, from 10% )
* Fixed a case where a player who dies, then is rescued from a rescue closet, and then is revived from a ledge hang receives the secondary weapon that he lost when he was initially killed
* Improved SurvivorBot AI in cases where the bots refused to shoot through their teammates and became non-responsive
* Fixed issue with witch sometimes taking on uncommon common properties
* Fix for cheaters quitting before the vote to kick them would succeed and avoiding ban on server
* VAC banned users can now play L4D2 single-player, commentary mode and credits

A required update for Left 4 Dead 2 is now available.  Please run hldsupdatetool to receive the update.  The specific changes include:

Gameplay:
- Fixed where last round of upgraded ammo didn't have upgrade effect
- Jockeyed survivor now glows for infected team in all cases
- Fixed exploit that allowed Jockey players to get instant recharge of their ability
- Fixed Charger ability timer not resetting when killing a survivor with low health on their third strike
- Charger now applies a small amount of damage when charging through physic props

A required update for Team Fortress 2 is now available. Please run hldsupdatetool to receive the update. The specific change include:

Server Browser (for TF2 and DoD:S)
- Added a client-side server blacklist:
- Supports blacklisting of specific servers, all servers on an IP, and all servers on a class C range.
- Saves the server list to a file, and has an Import button to allow easy sharing (cfg\server_blacklist.txt)

An update for Team Fortress 2 is now available.  Please run hldsupdatetool to receive the update.  The specific changes include:

- Fixed grounded players receiving falling damage from Force-A-Nature shots directly above them
- Fixed the Force-A-Nature firing fewer pellets when tf_use_fixed_weaponspreads was 1
- Updated the achievement icon for the "May I Cut In?" Spy achievement to match the achievement description

A required update for Team Fortress 2 is now available.  Please run hldsupdatetool to receive the update.  The specific changes include:

- Added an "equipped" tag to currently equipped items in the Backpack and Crafting screens
- Fixed the TFBots not reacting correctly to stun effects
- Fixed the Heavy picking up his own thrown sandvich if it was thrown while running forward
- Fixed Pyros not getting the proper kill icon for kills with deflected Direct Hit rockets
- Fixed the player keeping their rage setting when the Buff Banner isn't equipped
- Fixed resupply cabinet not clearing the rage and the buff status effect
- Fixed the Buff Banner not working when +reload has been forced in console
- Fixed the motion blur on charging Demomen not always drawing
- Fixed the Direct Hit mini-critting enemies submerged in water
- Fixed the Chargin' Targe's crit not working on servers with tf_weapon_criticals 0
- Capped the amount of overhealing from taking heads to the player's max buffed health
- Updated the Gunboats to absorb damage from any self-inflicted rocket blast that doesn't hurt another player
- Updated the Scottish Resistance to detonate bombs near the player's feet (in addition to what it normally detonates). This enables sticky jumping with this weapon.
- Updated the Baseball and Jarate HUD indicators to stay on screen when full
